Knowing that she couldn’t confront the hunter all by herself without any weapons, Daniella decided to trust the wolf’s confidence that it would guide her to safety. She stayed close to the ground and crawled her way towards the wolf, making sure to not draw any attention.
She followed, torn between her instincts to escape and the hope that the wolf’s path would lead them to safety. The forest opened to a clearing where Daniella’s heart sank. An albino wolf, trapped in a net, looked up at her with frightened eyes.
