It looked out of place, as though it had been hastily constructed and forgotten. The cement walls were rough, cracked in places, with patches of moss clinging to them, as if nature had already begun its work of reclaiming the structure.
At first glance, it didn’t seem like much—just another derelict outpost, perhaps an old storage shed or an abandoned shelter. He noticed the monkey going towards the building. But what astonished him wasn’t the monkey itself.
