The people on the boat are oblivious to their own incredible story. Once they see the drone photos of their ‘close encounter’, they’ll be awestruck. Though the whale is likely harmless, its colossal size alone is enough to stir a sense of awe and a dash of fear. Imagine the stir even a small movement from this giant could cause in the vast ocean!
You’ll notice the parking lot is totally empty. Looks like no one wanted to disturb this strange bird party. It’s a bit spooky but also pretty cool to see so many birds hanging out together like that in the middle of the night.
